FAT AND DIET


According to UCLA research study in 2007, lead researcher Traci Mann explained that when people went on diet, they would actually gain more weight back than when they had never dieted at all. He tried to make people understand that dieting makes people fatter. Contrast with researchers from National Institute of Health (NIH), Marilyn Glenville suggests people to follow a suitable diet to lose their weight, so that they will not be obese. People are not actually brainwashed into using diet to lose their weight because dieting can help them to erase a trend on obesity. People can also avoid hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart diseases, and high cholesterol for their bodies. After relating with this clime, in my view I agree with Marilyn Glenville from NIH research and realize that the clime “dieting makes people fatter” has to be examined again.
Most people would agree that dieting can help them to lose their weight. Dieting is the way how people choose food that has less fat and burn that fat. People can decrease their fat by choosing the suitable diet for them. According to research in the U.S and U.K, weight from participants can loss by practicing a variety of dieting techniques including weight watcher. Weight watcher is a program that allows people to eat what they want to eat in a day as long as they do not exceed their limit in eating it for one day.  Moreover, according to Nutrition review published in April 2006 showed that vegetarian diet is also effective to lose fat. In addition, Sebate J and Wien M explained also that vegetarian diets are associated with a lower body mass index (BMI). BMI is about a measurement derived from someone’s weight and height. People who want to use those kinds of diet methods will be able to decrease their weight and from those researches clearly show that diet helps people to burn fat and bring successful in burning it. 
Some people may say that dieting is often too hard to be done successfully and they often can come back into their old eating habits which make them fatter than before. This opinion might be true, but according to Dr. John Briffa’s studies from EcoSeed described that when a diet is already appropriate to be followed by people, they will focus on it to burn their calories or fat in the period of times, it works successfully. Dr. John Briffa suggests people who say that dieting is too hard to be done can use Weight Watcher program which was found to be the most effective due to its flexibility because it allows people to eat what they want in a day as long as they do not exceed their daily point allowance ( EcoSeed, 2011). The important thing is when a diet is associated with physical and physiological state, it can success enough in losing calories. It had been stated by EcoSeed in 2011.
I believe that after reviewing the claim “dieting makes people fatter”, I can make people understand that dieting can help them to decrease their calories as long as they can choose the specific or suitable diet which matches with their habit, so that they can burn their calories as fast as they can. In addition, dieting also needs an effort, motivation, and focus from people who want to do diet. Certainly, it will work successfully. From now, people must be ready to start to lose their weight by choosing a suitable diet. Good luck!
